Even though he's been one of the most potent American scorers in the National Hockey League this season, Utah captain Clayton Keller was kept off the USA roster for the 4 Nations Face-off. As much as it stings, SLC Puck Austin Facer doesn't think it's been a bad thing for Keller or the Utah Hockey Club.
Still, Keller or not, the NHL's reentry back into best-on-best international is a significant step that could ripple all the way into 2034, when Salt Lake City is set to host the Olympic Winter Games. Expect hockey, complete with the NHL's best to be a center stage event then, Facer predicts.
