The Utah Mammoth unveiled their brand new practice facility on Wednesday, lauding it as “state-of-the-art” and the “best in the NHL.” SLC Puck’s Austin Facer takes a look at all the amenities it has to offer and projects it to be not only a major community asset once it opens to the public, but also as a big tool in the Mammoth’s future free agency pitch.
But that wasn’t the only news out of the team’s media availability on Wednesday. Utah general manager Bill Armstrong also shared that embattled goaltender Connor Ingram would not be reporting to camp and that the two sides had agreed to Ingram’s release to waivers. Facer feels this was best for everyone involved, including Ingram.
