The Utah Mammoth snapped a four-game slump with a 3-2 victory over the New York Rangers. However, SLC Puck host Austin Facer believes the team will face its greatest opportunity yet to regain its confidence by hosting the Vegas Golden Knights again on Monday, just a few days removed from a 4-1 defeat to Vegas on Friday.
The way Facer sees it, Utah has three paths to follow to make the playoffs. One, the Mammoth can continue to play through the ups and downs to right the ship. Two, the club can make a coaching change. Or three, the team can shake up the roster with a trade or two. What happens in the next stretch could determine the path the Mammoth take.
