The Stanley Cup Playoffs are officially underway — and yes, it’s also NFL Draft Day. We multitask around here.
First off, huge shoutout to everyone who entered the SLC Puck 2025 Bracket Challenge. Nearly 80 brackets submitted! For context, Charles Barkley’s bracket league only had 934 entries. So yeah, we’re basically 8% as famous as Chuck. Watch your back, big guy.
As for my bracket? Well… let’s just say it’s not aging like fine wine. Didn’t expect the Kings to jump out to a 2-0 lead on Edmonton, and I may have been a little too bullish on Ottawa taking down Toronto in seven. There’s still time, but oof.
Still, the hockey has been electric. So many storylines, so many great moments. If you’re not watching — what is you doing?
Let’s enjoy the ride. Second Chance Bracket Challenge is coming. Lord knows I’ll need it.
