Utah and San Jose are two middle of the road scoring teams. The Mammoth’s 3.16 GF/G ranks them 15th in the National, while San Jose’s 2.95 puts them at 22nd. Tonight’s matchup shouldn’t exactly be a skeet shoot either. Utah’s been struggling to find the net as of late. San Jose’s been struggling with that all season, ranking among the lowest in the NHL in shot total and scoring chances. I don’t see this being a barn burner or a boat race for either team. Neither does the market. Don’t fail us now.

Still, he’s had points in 3 of the last 4. Last season, he had at least one point in all 3 Utah Hockey Club contests against the Sharks. I like this pick.

Not to mention, he seems to hate Logan Cooley, adding jet fuel to the fire.
