SLCPuck dot com. Who would have ever guessed that this domain would be available? Especially in the same week that it became official; Utah would the new home of an NHL franchise.

It took a crazy confluence of events for all this to happen. But now that’s here, the team is coming, the URL is in the hands of passionate, somewhat competent person, it’s go time.

SLC Puck, both in written and podcast form, will be a gathering spot for the hockey community that already exists, and the one that’s soon to come, here in Utah.

We’ll start simple. My guess is that there aren’t a ton of people around here who call themselves hockey experts. While I grew up playing hockey, from age 8 to 18, I won’t pretend to be the biggest hockey buff in town. I’ll meet you where you’re at, and we’ll learn about and get excited about this team together.

Whatever they’re called. This is called SLC Puck!

Glad you’re here.
